/ Overview:
A packaging design agency in London, designing the part of the brand a customer actually holds.
At Saltco, brands work directly with the two founders, who come from opposite ends of the same problem. One started in brand and digital, the other is an ARB-registered architect and interior designer. That second half matters here, because Rufus models a bottle or a box with an architect's precision, so the packaging holds up in the hand, not just on screen.
Founders usually come to us with something specific. A new brand launching that needs its packaging and identity built together. Or an established brand that needs a rebrand, with packaging to match.
Packaging designed as part of the brand, from strategy through to the finished run.

How we work
There is a moment between picking a product off a shelf and setting it down at home where a customer decides how they feel about a brand. The weight of the box, the way it opens, whether it looks as good in a photo as it did in the shop. We design that moment as part of the whole brand, so the product in someone's hand feels like the same brand they meet everywhere else.
We own every step, so what we design is what arrives on shelf:
Concept design, rooted in the brand and its customer
Copywriting and brand voice
Technical design, cutter guides and dielines
Print and supplier management
Compliance and regional artwork
How it all connects
Because the same senior team at Saltco works across brand, digital and space, the same identity we put on the pack can carry into everywhere else a customer meets it, with nothing handed to a fourth supplier and reinterpreted.
For clients who work with us beyond the packaging, that means one brand across:
It is the reason clients stay for years, not projects.
Our best work is with brands we have stayed with for years
We have worked with Self Glow by James Read for three years, taking it from a pre-investment concept through to a full 10+ SKU packaging system, a Shopify store, and the retail spaces and window takeovers at Selfridges, Liberty and Space NK. The brand world we built helped raise £2 million in investment, won Best Brand Launch 2024 at the Marie Claire Awards, and earned coverage from Vogue to WWD.
Hanikon Rosé started as a set of brand guidelines and brand-world building, and expanded into limited-edition designs for its partnerships with E1 Team Monaco, the world's first all-electric raceboat championship, and the cult American luxury fashion house, Chrome Hearts.
And Teeth by Theodora, an oral care and teeth-whitening line, came out of our four-year partnership with Dr Theodora Bravis, the Harley Street-trained specialist behind Thames. Having already built the Thames brand, website and clinic interior, we designed the product and its packaging to carry the same sense of care into something a patient takes home.
